...and maybe even the world!!!
When I was entering Rachelle Gardner's contest (see posts below) I realized that about 300 other people were entering... I don't have a snowballs chance in Hades of actually winning with that many people entering but, I digress...
I think I have seven people following this blog (and hundreds others on google reader... right? Har har har)...
She had to start somewhere... Maybe she had seven followers once. Well, yah... duh. She probably did have seven followers once which now has turned into a google of groupies!
I want groupies!
Ahem, so... On twitter a couple days ago we were talking about the usual; writing, chocolate, editing, chocolate, kids, chocolate, plotting to take over the world, chocolate...
When out of no where... an idea hit me! Why not run a contest and give away chocolate! The idea just came right out of left field... who knew?
The brainstorming started... how I could run a contest here on my blog. I could do a Christmas contest... but with Christmas coming so soon, would there be enough time to ship the chocolate? Would people accept chocolate from a stranger? Of course they will, it's wrapped chocolate!
In any event, I decided to do it...
Last night I went out and searched the "world" for chocolate... and it's not just ANY chocolate I am giving away it's literally from around the globe. All kinds, and types, all yummy goodness because, who doesn't love chocolate??? (Don't answer that, DS10 doesn't, so I am sure others of you don't but I bet you know someone who does!) Now the real question is, what can you do to enter and win the chocolate...
Monday, December 14th I am going to post the contest... Can't tell you what it is yet, because I don't actually know, but that is besides the point...
You just need to log in... and do whatever it is to enter the contest and wait.
Sound fun? It IS chocolate after all... It's a win/win situation!

Tune in Monday to win! ;)
Holy Moley Batman!! When she said chocolate, she meant chocolate. I couldn't figure out the other night on Twitter what you meant when you said you just bought 40.00 worth of chocolate-- but this is a most EXCELLENT contest idea. I shall help spread the word. . .no wait...the more people who enter the less chance I have of winning.
ReplyDeleteNow you've put me in the midst of a moral dilemma!
Great idea! I'll be back on Monday for sure!
